Terry, a native of El Paso, Texas, has always had a passion for working with animals, both large and small. Her particular interest in guinea pigs led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Since 2009, Terry has been working at the El Paso Animal Emergency Center, where she has found her niche in emergency medicine. She values the learning opportunities and ever-changing cases that come with this field. Terry has taken advantage of the advanced treatment and diagnostic options available at the clinic, becoming certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment and learning to operate the CT. As a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, she stays up to date with the latest techniques and continues her education to provide training to new and existing staff, ensuring that the level of care and client education remains elevated. In her free time, Terry enjoys traveling, cooking, playing video games, and reading.
