Dr. Tiffany Flores was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Irvin High School (1990), the University of Texas at El Paso (1995), and Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine (1999). Her father, a local physician, told wonderful stories of illnesses he treated and the amazing and interesting people he helped in his practice. He encouraged her to become a veterinarian when she was seven years old after she started dragging home injured bugs (and the occasional dead critter) to “heal” at home. She loves emergency medicine for the wonderful pets and families she meets, and the difficult medical puzzles that critical cases provide.
In her spare time, she enjoys tending to her “farm” of horses, chickens, dogs, fish, and “Steve”, the female bird. She also loves to cook, hike, read, garden, travel, and play piano. She shares the farm and her love of all things furry with her family, Rich, Sophie, and Sam.
